What’s a cloud-based system?

A cloud-based phone system allows your business to make calls, video conference, and create messaging over the internet rather than over a traditional analog phone line. These phone systems can be used with a variety of devices, including VoIP phones, smartphone apps, or desktop computers. Staff can take and make calls from their desk, from an app on their cell phone, or through our desktop client on any desktop, laptop or tablet.

Is a cloud-based system secure?

In a word, YES! Your cloud-based phone service has top-notch security. It’s easily updated with new technology and includes important disaster-recovery options unavailable from an in-house phone system. We can show you all the benefits with a free demonstration in your office or via a video call. 

Can we keep the same phone numbers we have now? 

Absolutely. We move your existing phone number or numbers from your existing provider to our service seamlessly. We’ll install your new phones, train your staff and have everything ready to go before we move your numbers and service over to your new system. 

I don’t need a lot of bells and whistles right now but might want to expand down the road. Will this system grow with me?

Our cloud-based phone service is configured any way that meets your business requirements, now and in the future. We keep it as simple as you like or implement extra features you might need. Our staff works with you to set up the configuration that best matches your business needs. And anytime you need to add phones you can just let us know how many you need.

Can I have phone service set up at multiple locations but use just one account for billing and communication? 

Yes. Because the service itself is cloud-based your phones can be connected to the Internet anywhere and it’s just like you are all sitting together in one office. 

Where is the app to log-in to the phone portal?

Existing customers log-in right here. 

Do you only work in the Tampa Bay area?

Many of our customers are based in the Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and Manatee counties, but Centratel installs and services phone systems all over the United States.
